Three Hundred Dollar Cake
Step 1: Mix in a large bowl:
2 c. sugar 2 c. flour
Step 2: Mix the below ingredients in pan, and bring to a boil and add to flour and sugar:
1 c. water 1 stick margarine
1 c. Wesson oil 4 tbsp. cocoa
Step 3: Add:
1/2 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. soda
2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes in a 13 x 9 sheet pan.
Topping:
1/2 stick margarine 4 tbsp. cocoa
4 tbsp. milk 1 tsp. vanilla
Bring to a boil and add to 1 box powdered sugar. Add more milk if needed. Pour on cake
while hot.
